Another Autumnal Tradition

Fall is just full of traditions!
It is a great time to do lots of things.
The boys look forward every year to making applesauce with my parents and to selling the pumpkins that grew in the garden.
This year, all three boys spent the night at Poppa & Nanna's on Friday night and then on Saturday morning, Grammy & Poppy came over for breakfast (pancakes---which the boys absolutely LOVE!) and to enjoy their time with the boys as well.

The night before was our ward Trunk or Treat so the boys were dropped off in their costumes. It is Halloween weekend --- if they want to wear their costumes all day long, I just don't care! :)
Jack loves to help push the apples down into the mashed and help my Dad.

The pumpkin selling set-up.
My grandfather also made cookies for the boys to sell.
The money that they make, they get to use for Christmas presents.
It is a good tradition that is also a great lesson for them.
They sold all the cookies and almost all the pupkins.
(I think that Collin and Jack both came home with $16)

Ta-Da! The finished product in jars, ready to be processed. (Grammy helping out)
