...Gone so long

Because we didn't have to be at the campsite until later in the afternoon, we thought that we would take the boys over to the temple so that they could walk around and see the visitor's center and have that experience...I forgot that I had little boys.

It was hot and not all that exciting for them, but I did manage to get them rounded up for a picture in front of the Christus statue.
When we got to the campsite, we had to wait for my parents to get there to set up our tent because they had the truck and thus all of our stuff.
Right off the bat, Collin found a snake. (and yes, I held it....no big deal.) So all the little ones had much fun taking turns holding the snake.



And....we had a great dinner with all the family there.

Highlights for today:

• Going to the St. George temple with my boys and letting them see the Christus staue
• The boys enjoying the snake that Collin found
• Being together with all my family and their families
